The first trailer for Steven Soderbergh’s Magic Mike has been released. A dramatic comedy set in the world of male strippers, it stars Channing Tatum who drew upon his former career as a male stripper for the role. Magic Mike sees the stripper meet a girl and aim to become something more respectable in order to woo her. The respectable career he’s chosen?…Furniture designer.

Also playing male strippers are Alex Pettyfer and Matthew McConaughey and the rest of the cast include Matt Bomer, Cody Horn, Olivia Munn, Joe Manganiello, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Riley Keough. Watch the trailer above.

Magic Mike will make its way into U.K. cinemas on July 13.
