Titan Books to create The Dark Knight Rises novel
Superheroes really are taking over the movie news. Almost as if nothing else matters. For now, perhaps not. Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures have announced a joint venture with Titan Books to create a novelisation of The Dark Knight Rises. Christopher Nolan will end his trilogy of the legendary DC Comic book character on Friday, July 24th when the novel will also be released. The official tie-in novel will be written by award winning author Greg Cox who’s also worked on other novelisation from the DC universe including Countdown (2009) and Final Crisis (2010) as well as other films including Star Trek and Underworld.
Talking about the project, Titan Publisher Nick Landau said, “Batman is one of the most iconic characters of popular culture. We’re tremendously excited to work with Warner Bros. on the novelization of The Dark Knight Rises, especially since it is the culmination of everything Christopher Nolan has done with his amazing trilogy. This is a part of motion picture history.”
