Stephanie Meyer’s The Host has been adapted into a film, we saw the poster a little while ago but now, two new images from the film have been released. Andrew Niccol’s  (In Time, Gattaca, Lord of War) adaptation of The Host stars Saoirse Ronan as Melanie Stryder, and Jake Abel as Ian O’Shea. In true Stephanie Meyer style, it’s a romantic character drama about aliens that have taken over minds of human beings.

Saoirse Ronan stars as Melanie Stryder, one of the last people fighting against an invading parasitic alien methodically taking over humans. Also starring is Diane Kruger, William Hurt, Jake Abel and Max Irons. The Host lands in cinemas on March 29th 2013.
