Ok – so if you’re like me, you might be pretty fed up with the number of horror remakes doing the rounds these days. But damn it, I just can’t help getting excited over the upcoming retread of Sam Raimi’s 1982 horror classic ‘The Evil Dead’ – the original cabin in the woods movie. Drop whatever you’re doing NOW and check out the brash and bloody trailer that’s just dropped online – my excitement levels just went through the roof!
Where’s the synopsis, you say? Go on then… if you must: “Five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.”
