Press Release updated: Sep 14, 2017 15:15 EDT

Kemble United Methodist Church has been an active part of the community for 130 years. Reverend Dr. Michael Harriott states, “It is the church in the heart of the city, and the city is in our hearts.”

Families are invited to celebrate on Saturday, Oct. 7, at the Memorial Fall Community Showcase, just prior to the Woodbury Fall Festival from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

New in 2017, the showcase, to be held on the church’s steps, will include performances by the Children’s Summer Music Camp participants, the church’s Praise Band and choirs, featured Gospel music guest Spiritual Five and a headline performance by jazz ensemble Zoay. Pastor Mike Harriott will serve as the Master of Ceremonies and share the church’s mission and vision at the start and between musical performances.

Church leadership hopes Woodbury residents will come out to hear the performances, enjoy a little food and fellowship while learning about Kemble UMC and its programs Oct. 7.
