The disease is diagnosed through fluorescein angiography, indocyanine green angiography and optical coherence tomography. The disease is treated through anti-VEGF therapy, photodynamic therapy and corticosteroids. Currently the adoption rate for anti-VEGF therapy is high followed by photodynamic therapy.
